The Minnesota Depatment of Labor and Industry has once again approved EJ Ajax for participation in the Minnesota Safety and Health Achivement Recognition Program (MNSHARP). This certification extends through March of 2017.MNSHARP recognizes Minnesota companies who have developed safety and health programs that go beyond basic compliance with all applicable OSHA standards, and result in immediate and long-term prevention of job-related injuries and illnesses.
EJ Ajax worked together with the Minnesota DLI’s Workplace Safety Consultation unit to develop and implement an effective written safety program. Key elements of this comprehensive program include:
- Management leadership and employee involvement
- An allocation of resources to address safety issues
- Systems that identify and control workplace hazards
- A plan for employee safety training and education
EJ Ajax will be publicly recognized for participation and certification in MNSHARP at the Governor’s Safety Awards Luncheon in May.
